Shining Knight - hard floor cleaning process
1. Inspection: prior to cleaning, our fully trained and insured technicians will carry out a thorough inspection to determine the most suitable products and process for cleaning your hard flooring.
2. Furniture removal: where ever possible, we will move and replace your furniture for you, but we do ask that any expensive breakable items are removed before we arrive.
3. Power vacuum: to extract dust, grit and other dry soil and prevent a muddy residue forming, when liquid cleaners are applied.
4. Scrub clean: all surface soiling is removed by specialised cleaners which are pumped through a powerful rotary machine. If necessary all existing polish / sealant can be removed.
5. Burnishing: a specially formulated maintenance solution is sprayed over the flooring and buffed by a high speed rotary machine, for an impressive shining finish.
6 Polishing: if the original polish has had to be stripped, additional layers of polish will then be applied and re-burnished. However, this can take up to 24 hours to dry.
