Will regular cleaning shorten the life of my carpets / upholstery?
No – regular cleaning will make your carpets and upholstery look better and last longer. If not properly removed, sharp grit and coarse sand will accumulate and cut into the actual fibres when pressure is applied. Our deep cleaning processes will remove all of the grit and sand, together with the unhealthy bacteria, allergens and mites that cause diseases, allergies and asthma.
How long will it take my carpets / upholstery to dry?
Carpets will usually be dry enough to walk on after 1 hour and completely dry within 4 hours. Upholstery can take longer to dry, depending on the absorbency of the material and backing. Therefore we recommend not using newly cleaned furniture for at least 24 hours.
Should I apply a protector?
Yes, we recommend the application of a specialised stain resistant products for all water absorbent fibres. Even though many modern fibres are designed to be stain resistant, much of that protection can be removed through daily use and cleaning. Therefore, we recommend that a protector be re-applied after each clean in order to maintain maximum protection. Please note that a protector will not make fabric "stain proof" but it will improve the chances of removing any stains that do occurr.
